Current Beauty Favourites June '16

Hey lovelies! Hope you're all really well and are having a lovely week!

Today i thought i would do a beauty based post as i've been doing a lot of outfit ones recently! Here are 6 products i have been REALLY enjoying using at the moment and would recommend them all! Let me know if you have tried any of them and what your thoughts are, or what your current beauty faves are :)

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder, Luminous, Champagne Pearl £38
Having heard a lot about the Hourglass powders it was something i had wanted to add to my collection for quite sometime.  FINALLY i took the plunge and bought it! It really is beautiful. It claims to 'capture, diffuse and soften the look of your skin' as it is infused with innovative Photoluminescent Technology. I mean i don't know much about the science of it but i do know that it makes your skin look stunningly radiant and flawless. It looks very shimmery and a little scary in the pan, so don't be put off. When brushed all over the skin it leaves a gorgeous, gorgeous sheen and the actual powder itself is super finely-milled. I know it is a little more on the pricey side but if you like your more high-end beauty i HIGHLY recommend! My biggest regret about this product is that i didn't buy it earlier!!!

Rimmel London Good To Glow Highlighter, Soho Glow 3 £4.99
Firstly, i need to say that this tube is going to last me a life time! For the price you get a heck of a lot of product! It is a lovely liquid highlighter which once set on your skin will NOT be going anywhere! If you're looking for something super intense then this isn't the product for you as i find it to be quite subtle. However, if you're after giving your skin a radiant and healthy, but natural, glow then you should give this a try! It comes in 3 different shades, 'Soho Glow 3' being the more bronze, golden one.

theBalm Mary Lou-Manizer Highlighter £17.50
This is a  B-E-A-U-TIFUL 'honey-hued luminiser'. I've been popping this on top of the 'Rimmel London Good To Glow Highlighter' to give an added sheen to the areas i highlight. However, this just on its own is gorgeous! At £17.50 it isn't the cheapest highlighter out there BUT it is SO worth it! I'm sure you're probably fed up of hearing about this as it is very very popular in the beauty world!

Benefit The POREfessional Primer £24.50
I'm sure you have heard about this primer many a time as it is very well known. The main reason i picked this up in the first place was because i had been starting to notice some pores around my nose and cheek area and, without stating the very obvious, the whole point of this primer is to minimize the size of pores and create a smoother base for your foundation - and that it does! Using this only where needed, I've noticed a huge difference in the lasting power and finish of my foundation!

Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid Lipstick, Nude Thrill £6.99
There is a real hype around liquid lipsticks at the moment and i'm really digging it. This one in particular is thick, creamy, pigmented, comfortable, long lasting AND it is available from the drugstore which makes it super easy to get your hands on! Ever since i got it i have not worn anything else - surely that means something?! I believe there are 10 different shades available but 'Nude Thrill' is my favouite as it is a lovely everyday, easy-to-wear colour.

Clarins Liquid Bronze Self Tanning for Face £20.00
I've always liked tanning and have gone through so many bottles of the stuff from different brands. However, when it comes to face tan i've never really found one. I have pretty sensitive skin so have always just fake tanned my body and then used a darker foundation and lots of bronzer to help match my face. However, i recently picked up this Clarins Liquid Bronze Self Tan for the face after hearing lots of good things about it, and i have not been disappointed. After my night time skin care routine i put some onto a cotton pad and wipe it over my face. I wake up the next morning with a lovely healthy colour and radiant glow, almost like i have just come back from a holiday (i wish). It is more of a gradual tanner which makes it easier to work with as you can build it up over time to a colour of your desire and it means it isn't scary to use! This is a perfect product for this time of year where you want to add some more colour to your skin. What's more is it doesn't break me out!
