Topshop Wishlist March '16

Hey lovelies! Hope you're having a good week!

Topshop. It has to be in my top 3 favourite places ever, ever, ever, ever, everrrrr to buy my clothes. They just seem to always get it bang on! I must check their 'new-in' section pretty much every single day - it's actually a tiny bit sad and ridiculous haha. They have some such lovely stuff in at the moment i am really having to fight myself from spending a heck of a lot of money! Hence the title, i thought i would share with you my current wishlist. If you like the look of an item yourself, simply click on the image as i have linked everything. What are you loving from Topshop at the moment?

(True story - just as i was putting this post together the doorbell went and guess what it was? A Topshop parcel for me. Oooopsie!!)

5 Ways To Make Yourself Feel Better After A Bad Day

Hey lovelies! Happy Sunday!

We all have good days where we feel on top of the world, but we also all have bad, stressful days where we just want to have a melt down and scream. It's life. It's perfectly OK. It happens. Not every day is going to be great. I thought i would share with you some of the things i do to make myself feel better in the hope it might help some of you. Let me know what you do to make yourself feel better - lets all get together and help each other out through those bad days :)

1. Leave the world at your door.
In order to start to make yourself feel better you must stop thinking about your day (i know this is much easier said than done). Shut your door and leave everything outside. Go upstairs and lie on your bed for a few moments. Scrape your hair into a top bun and take off your makeup. We all know how good it feels to take off our makeup after a super long stressful day!

2. Run yourself a big, hot, bubbly bath.
Having a bath is my favourite way to relax. I could spend hours locked away in the bathroom. They are a great way to unwind and help relieve any stresses from the day. Turn your bathroom into your very own spa. Grab your most loved shower gel, bath salts, bath bomb, bath creme, book, magazine, drink, candles and lock yourself away. Even grab your laptop or iPad and balance it on a chair. Play a TV series that you're loving or are in need of catching up on, play your favourite music. Pamper every inch of your body. Grab a face mask, put a hair mask in, shave your legs, exfoliate your body. Anything that makes you feel good, do that. Having this time alone and to yourself will make you feel so good. After your bath put your most comfy pj's on.

3. Chat to your Mum, Dad, siblings, friends.
Sometimes talking about your day to another person can help put everything back into perspective. The mind is a super powerful place and it is so easy to get caught up and over-think, making it seem like situations are worse than they are. My mum is so good at reminding me what really matters, what is important in life and making me see a bit more sense about a situation. Sometimes you need another person to tell you to stop being so silly! A bad day is not a bad life.

4. Make yourself your favourite hot drink and get into bed.
Grab your favourite mug and make yourself the best hot drink you've ever made for anyone. Personally i looooooove hot chocolates! Grab your favourite chocolate powder, cream, marshmallows, malteasers, chocolate sprinkles. If you love tea, grab yourself your most loved tea bag. Grab yourself a couple of the most delicious biscuits or chocolates from in your cupboard. Go all out! Take your drink upstairs with you and get into bed.

5. Have an early night.
I find going to sleep is the best cure for anything. It's a fantastic way to escape the world for a while and shut everything off. It's like a time machine to the next day. What does the next day mean? It means a new day, which also means a fresh new start! Yesterday is over with! Just like we need food and water to survive, we also need sleep. Nowadays it is so easy to get distracted by all the social media and electronics around us that you soon realize it's 2am and you have to be up in 4 hours. Try to come off your social media about an hour before you go to sleep and spray your pillow with some spray (thisworks Sleep Plus+ Pillow Spray is great). The more sleep you get, the better you will feel when you wake up.

Bad days don't last forever. Tomorrow is a brand new day and it will be better.
